Although we couldn’t find many bad things to say about it ourselves, It didn’t take our #1 spot for this top 10. That said, it has nothing to envy from its competitors since it has everything you are looking for when buying a lick pad or mat for your dog.

I don’t wan’t to spoil anything so if you wan’t to know how it ranked and which one we decided to rank first, go ahead and scroll thru our top 10 right now.

Our appreciation

We kick off this top 10 licking mat with the Lickimat Wobble.

I know what you are thinking, this is not even a lick pad. And you’re right hehe. That’s why we put it in #10.

We had to include it because it it one of our dog’s favorite licking toy. I assure you, the rest of the top 10 are licking pads. I swear.

I don’t know what it is about this toy but our Lab is just crazy about it.

Key features

Other than what seems to be a cool turquoise pig design, it has some very nice features.

Made of high quality bite-resistant TPR material, it contributes in keeping the dog’s physical as well as mental health.

The whole rear part of the toy is a suction cup so once it’s stuck to a surface, it stays there. You can put it vertically or horizontally depending on your dog’s mood. Can be stuck to floors, walls, windows, you name it.

You basically remove the suction cup after rotating it 190 degrees, then put dog treats inside of it, and put the suction cup back in.

I can’t use the official pictures here but you can go on Amazon to check it out. You won’t be disapointed.

9. Downtown Pet Supply - Silicone Dog Lick Bone

Our appreciation

Coming in #9th place is the Downtown Pet Supply silicone dog lick bone.

Nothing is really wrong about this product except for the fact that we found better options at a similar price.

When I say nothing wrong, I mean it does exactly what it’s suppose to do and has nothing to envy at its competitors.

That said, we found that for a few bucks more, you can get a better alternative especially for larger dogs like our Lab.

Key features

As stated before, it does have all the features you need from a licking pad.

It has sucking cups at the back to stick it to most surface but only two of them. We find that having more will help making it stick for longer periods of time.

The silicone dog lick bone is made from 100% FDA approved silicone, it is easy to clean and comes in 4 different colors.

The price is competitive and the size is 10″ Length by by 5″ Width

8. Bath to the Bone - Dog Bath Distraction

Our appreciation

Don’t be bummed by the fact that this one came in #8th place because it is one of our personal favorite.

It performed very well and did exactly what it was suppose to do.

Someone had to come in 8th place and since we loved some of the other products more, that’s where it ended.

The other reason being that we found a similar design which worked a little better which you can find by scrolling a little bit more.

Wow I sound like this one was the worst but it really wasn’t that bad of a product and the price is very competitive so I encourage you to try it.

Key features

Here is a few features you might like when buying the Bath to the Bone licking pad.

First of all, the 7 sucking cups at the back are very sturdy and durable so once the mat is in place, it won’t come off easily.

Secondly, it is made from FDA approved silicone, it is dishwasher safe and freezer safe.

Lastly, the small dimples in the design will give your dog its money’s worth and will delay the process of snacking which is a good thing.

Furthermore, it is on the amazon’s choice list and has an extremely good rating.

Our appreciation

Our number #7 for this top 10 is the Weliu Dog Lick Pad.

I have to admit that I was pretty excited to test this one. The design is really beautiful and it seemed like a perfect licking mat.

It’s not the worst option out there but it’s not the best either. The small nubs and the circle design just aren’t the best at slowing down the process of snacking.

Our Lab would go thru his snack in seconds and it kinda defeated the purpose.

That said, it still has some cool features.

Key features

I don’t wan’t to make it look like it’s a bad product, it just wasn’t as good as the others we tried.

It does have a lot of the features we were looking for such as 100% FDA approved silicone, sucking cups to make sure it sticks to most surfaces, cool design and so on.

The size of the surface is also pretty decent and i’m sure it will be a great option for many dogs out there.

The price is very competitive and the ratings are almost perfect on amazon so even though our dog wasn’t the best audience for this one, don’t hesitate to try it out and see for yourself. You can always return the item if its not what you are looking for.

6. AWOOF Dog Puzzle Pad - Snuffle pad for dogs

Our appreciation

Coming in #6 is Awoof dog puzzle pad – Snuffle pad for dogs.

I have no idea if you are suppose to put tuna in there but we used peanut butter just like every other lick pads and it worked very well.

Although it looks like it would be very messy to clean, it wasn’t as bad as expected.

Pretty cool and inovative design. Nothing crazy, just a simple and working dog lick pad product.

Key features

Without having any special feature you wouldn’t expect from a lick pad, it has everything you need.

Cool design, dishwasher safe, freezer friendly, comes in a pack of 2 (one blue and one red).

Very intuitive, easy to use, made from FDA approved silicone.

5. Tysons Pet Treats - 2 pCS Dog Lick Pads

Our appreciation

We begin our top #5 with the Tysons Pet Treats 2 pack dog lick pads.

Right off the bat, I know it’s not the cheapest option but I had to go with what our Lab preferred over what our wallet preferred hehe.

The small bones in the design might have had something to do with him being obsessed over it.

Furthermore, I also liked that it has tons of little suction cups on the back so once it’s placed, it won’t move.

Key features

It has all the features you wan’t from a licking pad.

It is durable, made of FDA approved rubber, has 37 little suction cups at the back.

It’s dishwasher and freezer safe.

Moreover, it comes in a 2 piece pack, one blue and one red pad.

Last but not least, it comes with a lifetime warranty. If you don’t like it, they will buy it back from you no questions asked.

Can’t say that we have tried but it’s nice to know how much they stand behind their product.

The only downside is the price. It might be cheaper to order it straight from amazon usa but to ship in Canada in cost us a little more.

4. Perfect Curve Lick Lick Pad - The Original Slow Feeder

Our appreciation

Coming in #4, the Perfect Curve Lick Lick Pad. I know, it’s extremely similar to the other bone looking lick mats but there just aren’t that much licking mats out there for dogs.

That said, this one is one of my favorite because it did exactly what it was suppose to do. Other ones would sometime come off the wall mid snack and that is kind of annoying.

You can use it to distract the dog while grooming or bathing or simply to make snack time different.

It comes in a few different colors which is cool too.

Key features

Believe it or not, the Perfect Curve Lick Lick Pad came in as a finalist for the GIA (Global Innovation Award) for its product design two years in a row.

It has screw or nail placement holes if you ever want to make it stick to your wall permanently. Maybe outside or in the basement.

Furthermore, it has two types of nubs. The nubs are two different heights which helps stimulating doggy and also helps for cleaning teeth.

100% food grade silicone, dishwasher safe, freezer friendly, decent size and surprisingly very durable.

3. Aquapaw Slow Treater - Treat Dispensing SUCTION Mat

Our appreciation

This is our #3 but could easily have been in the top 2. It’s the Aquapaw Slow Treater.

This one is a bit smaller than the ones in our top 2 but the reason I loved it so much is the fact that you can stick it to pretty much any wall.

We used it to distract our Lab during bathing but you can also use it while grooming and even dog training.

Key features

The main feature is really the fact that you can stick it to any wall without much effort. You can put peanut butter in there and the dog will get going instantaneously.

Moreover, it is made from 100% FDA-approved silicone.

It has wings for easy placement and tabs for easy removal.

Dish washer safe and freezer friendly

The patented design is filled with small nubs to slow down the licking session.

The only downside is the size of the thing. Although it has some really cool features, I feel like they could have made a larger model for bigger dogs.

Our appreciation

Coming in #2, the Geepet dog slow feeder mat. It is a little different in its design but still an extremely reliable product when it comes to licking mats.

The little patterns in each model are perfect to serve dry goods while the dotted part fits perfectly for wet food. You can say it is kind of a 2 in 1 product.

Also, I felt like it was a bit easier and faster to clean which is always a good thing right?

Key features

Similar to the slow feeder, it is made with natural rubber so it’s very sturdy and durable.

The design are beautifully made so your dog will be able to clean 99% of the whole thing. Easier to clean.

Its a nice alternative to usual food stuffable dog toys and it contributes in reducing boredom and anxiety.

2 in 1 design, freezer friendly, non-slip design, improves digestion, improves oral health. I mean this thing has nothing to envy from its competitor.

Furthermore, its a bit cheaper than our #1 spot so it might be even more attractive to try if you are in the market for such a thing.

Beaver's choice

Our appreciation

Lastly but surely, the lick mat occupying our #1 spot in this top 10 is the Hyper Pet Lickimat.

Out of all the lick mats we tried, this is the one we preferred for many different reasons.

Without having some special features that nobody else had, it just has everything you need when buying a brand new licking mat for your dog.

The main reason for that is that it’s been developed in cooperation with a vet, whosupervised the whole process.

Key features

It’s durable and robust, it has a non-slip design, it can be frozen in the freezer and heated in the microwave, it’s easy to clean and dish washer safe.

Both designs were developed to soothe and calm your pet while licking it. It works for both cats and dogs.

Furthermore, the complex yet simple way these mats are made contribute to reduce anxiety and boredom in the animal.

Additionally, it promotes fresh breath and healthy teeth and gums. They stimulate saliva to aid in digestive health.

Lastly, it keeps your pets entertained while you are feeding them with tasty treats.

We pick 10 of them, you pick 1
