Based on our personal experience, the best washable dog pee pad on the market at this moment is the Pet Parents’s PawTect Pads.

10. Yangbaga Washable Pee Pads for Dogs (2-Pack)

Our appreciation

Here we go, we kick off this top 10 with Yangbaba’s washable pee pads.

First of, the size is pretty good for a medium or small dog.

It’s cute looking, the feel is nice, the material is extremely absorbent.

I was pretty pleased with the whole odor situation.

Overall a very nice product that I would recommend. The price wasn’t that bad either, very competitive.

The product was washed in the machine about 5 times and it still looks brand new. They advertise that it can withstand over 300 wash before having to buy a new one.

We’ll see.. :)

9. Ruff 'n Ruffus Reusable and Washable Puppy Pee Pads (2-pack)

Our appreciation

Coming in #9th place is Ruff ‘n Ruffus Reusable and Washable Puppy Pee Pads.

I know it’s our number #9 but there’s nothing really wrong about this product.

We bought the X-large model and we all thought it was pretty good. It was doing its job very well.

It comes with a bonus free travel bowl and some poop bags which is a cool gift.

The design itself is very cute and the material is extremely absorbent.

The only bad thing I could say is that it shrinks easily, which is a bit of on the down side.

8. Peepeego's Non-Slip extra large Dog pee Pads

Our appreciation

Coming in 8th, Peepeego’s non slip dog pee pads.

Right of the bat, this one is just plain awesome.

As you probably know by now, we have a relatively big Labrador so this pad was perfect for us.

As you can see from the picture, it’s huge. You can fit more than one dog on this thing.

We all loved it right away.

It’s big. Specifications are 65″ by 48″.

The product is made from superior absorbent material. It can hold up to 8 cups of liquid.

Our appreciation

Our number #7 for this top 10 is Paw Legend’s washable dog pads.

This one I was really excited to test. They look so good and the feel is exactly what I was looking for.

It does what it’s suppose to. I’m forced to admit that there’s nothing wrong with these pads at all. They are as absorbent as can be, odor controlling and 100% leak proof.

What else can you ask for really?

What I’m trying to say is this might be our number 7 but it’s still an awesome product and could easily have been higher in our top 10.

Pros:

Cons:

Our appreciation

Coming in our #6 spot, this is the Careoutfit reusable and washable large dog and puppy pad.

The first thing which caught our attention was the fact that it comes in a pack of four for virtually the same price as the other brands which are packs of two.

Furthermore, it’s made in USA and even though we live in Canada, it’s always reassuring to buy from our close neighbors. It feels like the product will be good quality and won’t be made out of bad materials.

In this case, we were right. Although the design itself is pretty blend and could be improved, the quality and durability of the product makes up for it ten fold.

Key features

Without having anything unique about the way they are made, the product does deliver on its promise.

The product is made from 50/50 high quality coton and polyester.

Product Size: 24 x 36

For your purchase, you get 4 different pads. One of each color, pink, tan, green and blue.

Furthermore, it has a high soaking capacity. Around 7 oz.

The fluids itself are absorbed and held for laundering. Made from ultra absorbent material.

The basic use, wash and repeat.

Our appreciation

We begin our top #5 with the Simple Solution Large Washable Puppy Pad.

I have to admit that I had real high expectation for this one since it was recommended by our veterinarian.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing product and will do the job just fine. That said, I felt like the other models we tried were a bit more effective.

Also, it only comes in one size so that’s kind of a bummer for us.

It seems like I don’t have anything good to say about it but it’s not our number #5 for nothing. It does everything it claims, has a very cute design and is price wise very competitive compared to its competition.

Key features

To be 100% fair, it is very durable and very well made. Simple Solution is a well known company and their products are always extremely good quality.

Furthermore, the main features are of course that it is being made from eco-friendly materials and being machine washable.

Moreover, the bottom layers are made from leak proof material and has a non-slip bottom to prevent accidents.

Cons:

4. Humble Pet Co. Washable Pee Pads for Dogs (2-pack)

Our appreciation

Coming in #4, the Humble Pet Co.’s washable pee pads for dogs.

The first thing we noticed was the cool bone and paw design but that’s not the only reason we picked it to be our #4.

The main thing we loved about this one was first the design but secondly the amount of liquid it can absorb.

The downside of this design is that it’s not always easy to see if the pad has been used or not.

Key features

Similar to the other brands, this one has a lot of awesome features.

Beginning with the 4 layer pad itself. The 4 layers pretty much guarantee you won’t have bad surprises on your beautiful floors when you lift the pad.

Furthermore, it’s machine washable, has a cute bones and paw design, and is made from superior waterproof polyester.

Moreover, this reusable and machine washable pad comes with washing instructions to make sure you don’t make the same mistakes we made. One of them is to use bleach, which will completely destroy your new pad.

Pros:

Cons:

Our appreciation

Let me just say right off the bat that this could easily have been in our top #2.

Coming in our number 3 spot, the EZwhelp machine washable pee pad.

This is the pad we used for years before making this top 10 and we love it.

Again, there’s not much bad things we can say about it. The only small complaint we had was the color didn’t match the colors of our furniture. But to be frank, who cares really.

This one is the rectangle one but EZwhelp has them in a circle shape as well as the square shape.

Moreover, last time I checked, they had it in 7 different sizes which is great to accommodate your dog while it grows.

Key features

The main thing which differentiate them from the competition is the 4 layers padding technology.

The first layer is made from a strong absorbing material. Followed by a high density soaked layer. The third layer is a breathable waterproof fabric and the bottom is made of brushed polyester.

Furthermore, the rounded corners minimize curling and kinda helps when you wan’t to put it in a box or in a dog crate.

Cons:

Our appreciation

A close runner up and coming in at #2 of this top 10, we have the Rocket & Rex washable dog pee pads.

I have to admit that this was a close second. We didn’t really have anything bad to say about the Rocket and Rex so at this point, it’s mainly personal preferences.

The product is durable and robust. They use a similar technology to combat odors and to maximize absorption.

Furthermore, take a look at that bone print design. It’s just so awesome.

Key features

Similar to our number #1, the Rocket and Rex Washable Dog Pee Pads comes in pack of 2.

You have a choice of two different prints, bone print and stripes.

It has all the features you would expect from a great pee pad:

Easy to wash

Super absorbent

Top quality and durability

Available in different sizes

and many more…

Pros:

Cons:

Beaver's choice

Our appreciation

As stated at the beginning, our favorite for a second year in a row and the one occupying our #1 place is of course the Pet Parents’s Pawtect Pads.

This simply has everything you would expect from a perfect puppy pad. You can go thru the key features below to confirm that but the main two reasons for us were:

Two main reasons why it’s our #1

First, the amount of liquid absorbed by this thing is unheard of and surpass all other brands we tested.

Second, the technology used in the fabric help control odors and bad smell to a point that it is barely noticeable. This was and still is a huge problem with some of the other popular brands out there.

Furthermore, the price is very competitive and they sell these in seven different sizes. It can literally be used throughout your whole dog’s life.

Key features

There is so many good features with these pads, it would take the whole page to list them all. That said, here are the key features worth mentioning:

Anti-tracking: they use a technology called WickQuick anti-tracking. This technology stops your dog from making wet paw prints on the floors.

No-Slip-Grip: the design under the pad itself is made so your dog won’t slip, won’t lose grip and effectively stop a potential mess.

Environment conscientious: it’s made from such durable washable and reusable fabric, you are helping the environment by not filing up landfill with disposable puppy pads.

Can be used for:

  • House training
  • Crate liner
  • Protecting furniture
  • Whelping pads
  • Incontinence pads
  • Post-surgery pad
  • Under water bowls
  • Under litter boxes

Pros:

Cons:

We pick 10 of them, you pick 1

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

How do I get my dog to pee on the pad?

You will find all kinds of information on the subject online but the main thing you have to focus on is this:

Have the dog pee at least two times (three is better) in a row on the pee pad.

This can be achieved by putting your dog on a leash, going to the pee pad and waiting with him for a few minutes.

You can also use a command like “bathroom” or “pee” so he can associate it with doing its thing.

I know it sounds crazy but trust me it eventually works.
